The Binks DR205 Ram Pump Outfit is a rugged supply system for medium to very high viscosity materials such as lubricants, mastics, adhesives, epoxies and sealants, supplied straight from 205 L (55 gal) drums.
The pneumatic ram pushes a twin-seal follower plate down into the drum, priming the pump, preventing cavitation and wiping the container wall clean as it descends, so less material goes to waste. The Binks MX high-pressure piston pump delivers a constant, low-pulse flow to the dispensing tool, and the patented low-ice air motor keeps it running without interruption.
Two outfits are available with the Ø80 mm DR205 pneumatic ram: DR205E-MX20066PU-SMX with a 200 cc, 66:1 chop-check pump for very high viscosity materials, and DR205E-MX22060PU-SMB with a 220 cc, 60:1 ball-check pump for medium to high viscosity materials. Both have stainless steel fluid sections.
