HafcoVac Vacuum Heads turn a standard steel drum into a powerful industrial vacuum that runs on compressed air. The venturi head has no electric motor and no moving parts, so there is nothing to spark, wear out or burn out. Fit it to a 30 or 55 gallon drum, connect your air line and start cleaning.

What size air compressor do I need for a HafcoVac Vacuum Head?

48 CFM heads need at least a 10 HP compressor (max hose 25 ft), 85 CFM heads need at least 20 HP (max hose 50 ft), and 185 CFM dual venturi heads need at least 40 HP (max hose 100 ft). A compressor delivers about 4 CFM at 90 PSI per horsepower. If you are not sure, choose the next size down.

What does the X at the end of the SKU mean?

Models ending in X are the anti-static version (Anti-Static: Yes). For example, HV-30-1510HX is the anti-static version of HV-30-1510H.

What is the difference between Head Only and Head and Tools?

Head Only is the vacuum head by itself, for replacing or upgrading a head on your own drum. Head and Tools adds cleaning tools so you can start working right away. SKUs ending in H are Head Only and SKUs ending in T are Head and Tools.

What drum can I use with a HafcoVac Vacuum Head?

Use a 30 or 55 gallon steel drum of at least 18 gauge. It needs bare metal on the top or bottom ring so the vacuum can be grounded. Grind to bare metal if needed. We also sell matching HafcoVac drums. Shop HafcoVac drums

Can a HafcoVac Vacuum Head pick up liquids?

Yes. HafcoVac heads work wet or dry. For liquids, remove the filter and use the liquid shut-off.

Can I make my HafcoVac quieter?

Yes. The S’HUSH Silencer fits all HafcoVac vacuum heads and reduces noise to about 77 dB. Shop the S’HUSH Silencer

What warranty comes with HafcoVac Vacuum Heads?

A lifetime warranty for the original owner against defects in material and workmanship. Consumables such as filters, filter bags, foam silencers and gaskets are not covered.
